Development Manager - Town Centre Regeneration

6 Month Contract (Likely Extension)

Up to £460 a day Dependant on experience (IR35 status to be determined)

Panoramic Associates are currently working with a Local Authority client based in the Southeast of England who is looking for an Interim Development Manager to assist in the delivery of a major town centre regeneration scheme.

The successful candidate would be focusing on a portfolio of mixed-use, commercial, leisure, and education projects, managing developments from feasibility to construction and handover.

Other areas of the role:

  • Manage the feasibility and procurement of contractors and employers' agents.
  • Ensure schemes are delivered on time, and within budget and identify, manage and report on all risks associated with relevant development projects.
  • Manage £multi-million budgets. Ensure all project costs are kept under strict control and recorded properly with all transactions checked and confirmed.
  • To prepare and provide regular progress reports for the Project Board and other stakeholders.
  • To perform all related duties of a Development Manager on each RIBA stage from 0-7.

To be considered you will have:

  • Extensive experience assisting and delivering town centre regeneration or Estate regeneration schemes within a Local Authority setting. (A portfolio of experience delivering residential, commercial, education, or leisure projects will also be considered.)
  • Proven track record of delivering projects from feasibility to construction, including
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain stakeholder relationships and engagement.
  • Experience working within a Local Authority setting.
