Senior Waste Operations & Contracts Officer

Panoramic Associates is working with a local authority to recruit a Senior Waste Operations & Contracts Officer for a 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong contract management and operational experience in the waste sector.
The Role:
You’ll play a key role in managing waste site operations and contracts, ensuring services run smoothly and meet legal and environmental standards. You’ll also lead improvement projects and support procurement and budget planning.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee contracts for waste sites and treatment services.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Lead operational projects and service improvements.
- Support procurement and manage budgets.
- Build strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in waste operations and contract management.
- Strong project and budget management skills.
- Knowledge of environmental compliance and procurement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel across the region.
