Senior Project Manager – Major Projects
6 Month Contract (Inside IR35)
Local Authority
Hybrid Working – 2 days/week in office presence, remainder from home.
Responsibilities:
The postholder will be responsible for leading the development, delivery and implementation of complex highways projects within the Major Projects team.
– Leading the delivery and project management of Major Highways Projects.
– Maintain and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
– Preparation of appropriate and suitable strategies for procurement of project consultants, contractors and advisers and lead on the preparation of project tender documentation.
– Coordinate and lead the evaluation of tenders and make recommendations on the award of contracts.
Requirements:
– Experience of delivering Highway Major Projects as a project manager within a Local Authority setting.
– APM/ Prince2 Qualification
– Public Sector Experience
