Panoramic Associates is supporting a local authority with their search for a SEN Transport Manager in the East of England.
The focus of this role will be to streamline their current system, reviewing policies in line with national guidelines and rescheduling fleet transport, to reduce costs and better align transport with SEN requirements. There will also be the expectation to propose changes to their current processes and policies and to assist with the restructuring of the service.
There is no line management responsibility in this role. The postholder will report to the Head of SEND Commissioning.
This will initially be a 6-month assignment, and they are looking for full-time hours. The client is ideally looking for someone to start within the next 2-3 weeks.
The postholder will be expected to go onsite regularly during the first few weeks for the handover, then will have a flexible hybrid working arrangement with onsite visits according to business need.
