We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to oversee a small children’s care home, which provides essential support for young people with autism and additional needs.
Nestled just a short distance from the breathtaking Lake District, the care home is located on the site of a highly regarded special school with a good Ofsted rating. The are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where young people with autism and learning disabilities can thrive.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
- Lead and develop a dedicated team of care professionals.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and strive for excellence in all aspects of care.
- Work closely with families, school staff, and external agencies to support the holistic development of the young people.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar leadership role within a children’s care setting.
- Strong knowledge of autism and experience supporting young people with special needs.
