Job Opportunity: Registered Building Inspector (Class 2 or 3)
Panoramic is partnering with a Leicestershire-based Local Authority to recruit a Registered Building Inspector (Class 2 or 3) for an initial 6-month contract. This role offers a competitive rate of £75.00 per hour (inside IR35), depending on your experience and registration class.

As a Building Inspector, you will oversee a designated geographical area, conducting proactive building regulations assessments and site inspections. You’ll also play a key role in fostering strong relationships with clients while ensuring compliance and safety across a wide range of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site inspections of buildings under construction or conversion, working closely with developers and builders to ensure adherence to Building Regulations.
- Review and assess plans for regulatory compliance.
- Effectively manage your workload, planning to provide a responsive and professional service with an emphasis on maximizing site presence.
- Accurately document inspection details in the database and communicate findings to customers.
- Maintain ongoing communication with surveyors and management on technical matters to uphold standards and adhere to procedures.
- Offer technical advice and guidance to developers, clients, and builders.
- Perform additional duties as required, while maintaining and building professional relationships.
