About the Role
Newcome Education seek a dedicated and experienced Educational Psychologist to enhance their therapeutic services across their specialist independent schools. A specialism in Autism and SEMH is advantageous. You’ll collaborate with a Clinical Psychologist and a multidisciplinary team, providing strategic, systemic, and therapeutic support to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation.
- Work with education and care teams to improve outcomes for children with complex needs.
- Provide professional development training for staff.
- Engage with families, carers, and specialist agencies.
- Contribute to safeguarding and critical response procedures.
Requirements
- Degree in Psychology with GBC membership.
- Doctorate in Educational Psychology.
- Experience in psychological service development.
- Strong skills in assessment, report writing, and communication.
- Resilience and professionalism in stressful situations.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
