Job Title: Quality Assurance Auditor – Adult Social Care
| Type: Interim | Duration: 3 Months | Inside IR35
We are working with a Local Authority that are seeking a flexible and experienced individual to join the team as a Quality Assurance Auditor within the Adults Services Directorate. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the development of our workforce, ensuring the delivery of excellent quality, safe, and compliant services in alignment with the legal framework of the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to Workforce Development:
- Actively contribute to the development of the Adults Services Directorate workforce, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Assurance and Compliance:
- Provide assurance that Adult Social Care Teams adhere to legal frameworks, particularly the Care Act 2014, delivering high-quality and compliant services.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance quality standards and improve overall service delivery.

Learning and Development:
- Ensure learning and development programs meet professional and statutory requirements, aligned with directorate priorities.
- Work closely with Organisational Development and HR Strategy, leading the design, delivery, and evaluation of development interventions for Adult Social Care staff.

Audit and Evaluation:
- Develop and conduct audits to review and evaluate social care practices and processes, ensuring adherence to Social Care legislation, guidance, and statutory requirements.
- Align audits with Council policies and government legislation, policy, and guidance at national and regional levels.

Project Leadership:
- Lead and coordinate innovative projects aimed at improving workforce development and enhancing service quality.

Knowledge Sharing:
- Support teams in learning from internal and external experiences.
- Lead internal audits and self-assessment processes to drive the completion of agreed actions and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in workforce development within Adult Social Care.
- In-depth knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on innovation.
- Ability to conduct effective audits and evaluations.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Contract Details:
- Rate: £400 per day
- Type: Inside IR35
- Duration: Initial 3-month contract
