Panoramic Associates is currently supporting a Local Authority client based in North of England to appoint an Interim Project Manager to oversee corporate property and heritage site projects. This is an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
In this role, you will lead on the management and delivery of key building works projects, ensuring successful completion within time frames and budgets, while focusing on the preservation and development of heritage sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage corporate property and heritage site projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all project goals are achieved.
- Oversee the refurbishment and maintenance of listed buildings and historically significant sites.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with planning permissions, building regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Lead contract administration and budget management for allocated projects.
- Support strategic property reviews and align projects with council objectives for asset management.
To be considered, you will have:
- Proven experience in managing projects within local authorities, with a focus on corporate properties and heritage sites.
- Strong understanding of building conservation and statutory requirements around heritage buildings.
- Experience managing contractors and external consultants.
- A relevant project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM) or equivalent professional experience.
