Programme Manager – Asset Development and Disposal
Location: Hampshire
Duration: 3 – 6 Months
Day Rate: £400.00 inside IR35
Panoramic Associates, in collaboration with a dynamic Local Authority in Hampshire, is actively seeking a dedicated Asset Development and Disposal Manager.
We are seeking an adept Programme Manager to lead a challenging, high-value asset development and property programme. Given the specialised nature of the programme, The council require someone with a background in a property/Asset related environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate robust supplier management and negotiation skills, capable of effectively coordinating and directing activities across multiple teams.
This role demands experience in successfully managing programme budgets exceeding £1m, with a keen focus on programme-level activities. With a proven commercial focus and broad experience, we expect our Programme Managers to proactively enhance project and change management capabilities within the council.
Key Accountabilities & Duties:
- Overseeing the programme budget, ensuring Project Managers adhere to project budgets.
- Actively managing delivery and commercial relationships with key suppliers essential for programme success.
- Contributing to the identification of disposal opportunities within the portfolio, encompassing long lease and freehold disposal.
- Budget management and risk identification.
- Offering commercial advice and negotiating with diverse third parties, including multi-national companies, colleges, and SMEs.
- Owning, maintaining, and actively managing the programme RAID to ensure proactive risk management and reporting.
