Panoramic Associates, in collaboration with a flexible Housing association in Sheffield, is actively seeking a dedicated Neighborhoods Manager.
This presents a unique opportunity for an experienced and informed housing professional to take the lead in front-line services, aiming to deliver positive outcomes for customers. The scope of responsibility covers all traditional tenancy management services, from sign-up to termination, and all the essential tasks in between.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of the team. This involves maintaining and enhancing levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring the achievement of service standards, and surpassing operational performance and KPIs.
key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of exceptional services across all tenures, overseeing team performance to cultivate a high-performance culture and drive continuous improvement.
- Spearhead and coordinate collaborative working practices and processes among frontline teams
- Manage the Financial Inclusion Officer to provide comprehensive housing welfare and benefits advice to all residents in need.
- Ensure proactive team engagement with customers, employing early intervention techniques to minimize arrears, uphold tenancies, and mitigate the necessity for court action.
- Supervise the collection of arrears from former tenants.
- Oversee the management of neighborhood cases, including Anti-Social Behavior (ASB), domestic violence, and tenancy fraud. Ensure effective monitoring of actions taken to resolve cases and support and protect our communities.
- Maintain regular customer contact, addressing neighbor nuisance issues professionally and promptly to foster safe neighborhoods and communities.
- Stay informed about legislative, policy, and regulatory changes related to housing law, including ASB, rent arrears, and income collection.
- Assume the lead role in resident safeguarding, ensuring adherence to all safeguarding policies and processes. Record safeguarding concerns appropriately, make referrals as necessary, and ensure full compliance with all health and safety requirements.
