Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer

Northern Home Counties

£45-55+ per hour umbrella

Remote Working with occasional office attendance preferred

Panoramic Associates are excited to be working with a public sector shared legal services, who are looking for an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join them for an initial 6 months contract, ideally on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be able to work on a remote working basis in this position, very occasional office attendance would be desirable for occasional client and team meetings! They are also happy to consider fully remote working arrangements dependent on experience.

The role will involve providing specialist legal advice to clients on a wide range of matters relating to Commercial Contracts, Procurement, Trading, and Corporate Law projects. You will be responsible for advising on contracts matters including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.

Essential criteria:

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister, alternatively, non-qualified Lawyers with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Provide legal advice to client organisations in relation to commercial, contracts, procurement, trading and corporate law to ensure compliance with statutory duties, obligations and to protect the best legal interests of the client organisations to the highest standard.
  • Preparing, negotiating and advising on all aspects relating to legal projects involving multiple agencies and client interests, including the third sector and charitable organisations.
  • Act as a source of legal and procedural advice and support to any of the client Committees
