Interim Support Manager – Adults with Learning Disabilities Service
Location: South West England
Contract: Interim (3-6 months)
Working Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
We are seeking an Interim Support Manager to assist the Registered Manager and oversee the smooth running of a vital service in the South West for a 3-6 month period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management to ensure high-quality care and support for adults with learning disabilities.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
- Support and develop the staff team, fostering a positive and inclusive working environment.
- Work closely with service users, families, and stakeholders to ensure person-centred care.
- Monitor budgets, resources, and service performance to meet operational goals.
- Handle incidents, complaints, and safeguarding matters promptly and effectively.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in managing services for adults with learning disabilities.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act and CQC standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A person-centred approach to care, with a commitment to empowering individuals.
- The ability to adapt quickly to new environments and challenges.
