Job Title: Interim Registered Manager – Home Closure Specialist

Contract: Temporary, 3-6 months (starting January 2025)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Interim Registered Manager to oversee the compassionate and efficient closure of an adult care home in the Wiltshire area. This role will be crucial in ensuring a smooth transition for residents with complex care needs and will involve managing the closure process with a focus on maintaining quality standards and meeting all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the home closure process, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and adherence to best practices.
- Coordinate with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders to manage the transition with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Oversee care planning, documentation, and risk management, ensuring all residents receive continuous, high-quality care during the transition.
- Manage staffing and support team members throughout the closure period.
- Liaise closely with local authorities, healthcare providers, and social services to facilitate the relocation and future care arrangements of all residents.
- Ensure that all legal, financial, and operational obligations are met throughout the closure process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager, specifically in managing home closures for adult care services.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and experience in complex care settings.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and tact.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to manage changing circumstances effectively.
