Panoramic Associates are working with a local authority to support the recruitment for a Public Health Programme Manager to lead on Population Wellbeing for Adults. This is a 6 month full time assignment with a local authority in the West Midlands. This post offers fully remote working or part time office based if this is a preference.

This will include specialist subject input to commissioning, communities, mental wellbeing, suicide prevention and health improvement.

As the Public Health Programme Manager, you will provide direct support to and deputise for the Consultant in Public Health or Strategic Manager and will have a specific focus on the specialist area.

It is also expected that the post holder will contribute to and lead on other programme areas relevant to the wider public health function, including strategy and policy development, expert advice and collaborative working to develop, commission and deliver public health programmes and tackle health inequalities across the local area.

This role will have a fairly broad portfolio and requires an experienced public health professional to come in and hit the ground running. You will also be responsible for the line management / oversight of a senior public health officer.
