Panoramic Associates are working with a Local Authority to support them with their need for an Interim Public Health Intelligence Analyst to start ASAP for approximately 3-6 months. This role can be fulfilled fully remotely and is ideally full time (candidates able to commit to 3 days+ will be considered).

You will be paid a market competitive daily rate (IR35 status TBC in the next 24 hours)

Duties include:

  • Supporting outbreaks and epidemiological investigations through collecting, extracting and analysing data and managing, maintaining and updating databases
  • Contribute to surveillance activities through adapting and developing routines and undertaking basic descriptive analysis to support the production of routine surveillance reports
  • Undertake basic statistical tests and use common statistical, database and mapping software and tools to support analysis such as producing tables, graphs, maps etc. and running queries
  • Contribute to the specialist Public Health advice internally and externally

To be considered for this role you must have experience of working as public health analyst/public health intelligence analyst in at least one of the following settings:

Local Authority / PHE / NHS / Health Protection Agency / Public Health Agency.
