Remote - You will be mainly working from home, with the exception of site visits and key meetings.
I am currently assisting a Local Authority based in Lincolnshire on an exciting new opportunity, for a Project Manager with previous experience of working in a social housing environment.
As the Project Manager, you will develop, lead, co-ordinate and monitor the councils improvement project to properties in the housing stock
The role holder will develop and maintain the project plan, identify, and set appropriate project controls, manage performance and report progress
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring spend against budget to ensure that project remains within budget and provide regular reports, including a commentary on performance. They will also have sound management/supervisory experience within a technical service.
If you have experience of managing capital budgets, planned and cyclical maintenance programmes this could be your next interim role
Requirements of this position include:
- Arrange, co-ordinate and manage installation of new kitchens, bathrooms etc within project.
- Develop and maintain the project plan, identify, and set appropriate project controls, manage performance and report progress.
- Prepare tender documentation and specification for works, including assisting in the procurement of contractors where necessary.
- Arrange, co-ordinate and manage asbestos removal within project.
