Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client based in the North of England to facilitate the appointment of an Interim Programme Manager on an interim basis for 3-6 months.
This role involves overseeing various capital, regeneration, and education projects. The successful candidate will manage projects at different stages, from feasibility studies and planning to construction and handover. This requirement has arisen due to an internal restructure and the need for specialised expertise in managing these projects effectively.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Lead and manage the entire development process for capital and school projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including local communities, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.
- Ensure that all developments adhere to high-quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and policies.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Proven experience in managing capital, school development or regeneration projects.
- Experience working in a local authority or similar setting.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Full membership of one or more of the following construction-related professional organisations: APM, ARB, CIOB, RIBA, RICS or PRINCE 2 Project Management or equivalent.
Next Steps:
This assignment is a 3-6-month contract with a likely extension and offering between £380-£400 per day Inside IR35 depending on experience. There will be a mixture of remote working with a requirement to be onsite 2-3 days per week.
