Panoramic Associates are supporting our Local Authority client with the recruitment of an Interim Part-Time Senior Property Solicitor position, on a 3 day a week (21 hours), fully remote basis for three months. Ideally you could get started within the next 2-3 weeks.
Role:
- To advise on all matters relating to property law (commercial and residential) for the council as part of the legal shared service arrangements. The role will also have supervisory responsibilities.
- Providing advice on and dealing with registered and unregistered land, advising and undertaking legal work on property related transactions and projects, overseeing all property work relating to the council’s housing stock and supervising the conveyancing work of other team members
- Providing professional and timely legal advice on a range of property related transactions and projects.
- You will also play a key part in ensuring the council fulfils its statutory obligations.
- Working collaboratively with other lawyers within the team and internal clients to achieve the best outcomes for the council
Requirements:
- Significant experience and knowledge in dealing with and advising on property law related matters.
- You will be Qualified solicitor or barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with a current practising certificate.
- Extensive experience in providing clear and coherent written and oral legal advice.
- The ability to maintain high standards of client care and work as part of a team to deliver an effective and efficient legal service.
