Job Title: Interim Highways Project Manager
Location: North West England
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Outside IR35)
Working Hours: 3 Days a Week On-Site
About Us:
Panoramic Associates is partnering with a Local Authority client in the North West of England to find a highly skilled Highways Project Manager for a significant highways scheme. This role offers the opportunity to lead a major project with a potential extension until mid-2026.
Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively liaise with consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Project Management: Oversee complex capital projects within the transport and public realm sector, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and to specification.
- Business Case Development: Create and manage business cases to support project objectives and funding requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Collaborate with the main contractor to overcome project obstacles and ensure smooth progression.
- Full Lifecycle Management: Guide the project through all phases, from initiation through to successful completion.
Requirements:
- Proven track record managing highways projects valued over £10M.
- Expertise in delivering projects using NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
- Local Government Experience is desirable
