Job Title: Interim School Finance Manager

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Interim School Finance Manager to join the team immediately, working on-site 5 days a week at a Multi-Academy Trust in the West Midlands. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth running of the finance operations through the end of the year.
Key Requirements:
- Immediate availability to start
- Prior experience working in a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) setting
- Proficiency in PS Financials software
- Proven track record as a Finance Manager in an education environment
- Strong knowledge of budget management, forecasting, and reporting
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the finance team
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the trust
- Provide support to senior leadership on financial matters
- Ensure the smooth running of the trust’s finances, adhering to MAT-specific policies
- Collaborate with the wider team to meet deadlines and financial objectives
