Interim Assistant Headteacher

Panoramic Associates is supporting an SEN School in the Bedfordshire area, in their search for an interim Assistant Headteacher to join them for a short-term contract. This would officially be for a January 2025 start, though it could start ASAP for the right candidate, and run until initially Easter 2025.

The school are a small specialist provision catering to a wide range of ASD, SLD and complex needs. They are on a journey of rapid improvement currently, so you will need to hit the ground running. You will be supporting teaching and learning to develop teachers, modelling best practise and covering classes where required

Overall school improvement support

A background in Curriculum/ Teaching and Learning would be beneficial. The school really require a strong character, with a child-centred approach and a willingness to learn on the go. They will consider mainstream only candidates, or middle leaders with SEN.

You must be available to work on-site 5 days per week in Bedfordshire, starting in January at the latest. Preferrably you will have a DBS on the update system.
