Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Headteacher to lead the school. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to special education, a track record of leadership excellence, and the ability to inspire both staff and students. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of up to £70,000 per annum, alongside a teachers’ pension and bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the school, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Lead and manage a dedicated team of educators and support staff.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance educational outcomes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high standards.
- Engage with parents, carers, and the wider community to build strong relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all educational regulations and standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of both staff and students.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school ethos.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of special education needs and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive school environment.
- Relevant educational qualifications and certifications (QTS essential).
