Panoramic Associates have partnered up with a Local Authority to assist them with the recruitment of an Interim Head of Strategic Commissioning position. This is a full-time interim position, a very good opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Officer to leave a lasting impact within the local authority or a Senior Commissioning Officer to step up as the Head of Service.
Responsibilities and Key Duties:
- Experience in Commissioning Integrated Care.
- Managing a team of Commissioning professionals.
- Providing strategic advice.
- Experience in controlling and balancing the costs of the Commissioning Service.
- Good experience with external fostering agencies, children in care, and children’s placements
An Ideal candidate for this position will consist of the following traits:
- Senior Commissioning Officer.
- Excellent managerial skills.
- Thorough understanding of Commissioning lifecycle and Children’s services.
- Good understanding of children’s placements.
- Experience in working with external fostering agencies
