Panoramic Associates are working with a Local Authority based in the South East to recruit an interim Director of Transformation and Business Change. This role offers hybrid working and the day rate is negotiable dependant on experience. The client would welcome someone who can start ASAP.
The main focus of this role will be to take Leadership of the Transformation and Business Change Service, ensuring agreed projects and programmes of work are delivered and that a culture of putting the local residents first is maintained.
Main Responsibilities (will include, but are not limited to)
- Working with executive stakeholders to deliver the strategic direction of the Transformation Programme and enhance savings delivery.
- Leading on the cultural change programme. Ensuring the most modern methods of service are delivered, directing the project management office, along with tracking the benefits of the business change projects.
- Driving and prioritising the Transformation and Change activity across the organisation to ensure a successful outcome is reached.
- Fully scoping the Council’s Transformation Agenda. Within this, clear business cases and details of the financial impact and return on investment. Ensuring adequate resources are available for key projects.
Essential Experience:
- Track record and experience delivering Transformation and Change Programmes in a local authority setting.
- You have excellent stakeholder management skills, around managing and delivering difficult Transformation and Change projects.
- Exhibit the ability to drive through efficiency savings – while dealing with the changing political setting.
- Evidence a successful track record in commissioning and managing a range of external support to ensure Change and Transformation are delivered throughout the council.
