Panoramic Associates are supporting our Healthcare client with the recruitment of a Substantive Consultant in HIV & Sexual Health.
Job title: Consultant in HIV and Sexual Health
Working arrangements: No on-call requirements, and the service operates 4 days per week
Salary: Up to approximately £126,000 per annum depending on experience
Role:
- Manage STI and HIV clinics
- Serve as the Lead Consultant in charge of providing HIV and Sexual Health Services
- Share clinical responsibilities with colleagues and actively contribute to the department
- Assist in developing additional community-based services to ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and robust clinical governance, while contributing to the creation of appropriate clinical pathways
- Carry out audit projects
- Participate in departmental research projects and contribute to training and supervision of junior clinical staff
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision in relation to HIV
Requirements:
- MRCP (UK) Or Equivalent and a Full Registration with GMC and name on Specialist Register (HIV) or expected within 6 months of the date of interview.
- If an applicant is UK trained, they must also be a holder of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview.
- Knowledge and experience of delivering Contraception LARC clinics (desirable)
