I’m currently working in partnership with a leading facilities management provider with the crucial hire of a Construction Project Manager into their Defence division to provide full support to a RAF base in the Falkland Islands, South Atlantic.
Construction Project Manager
£50,000 salary, free accommodation, benefits listed below
Location: Falkland Islands, South Atlantic
- You will be an experience PM and be capable of following an established project governance framework and have a structured approach to manage the project
- Responsible for overall project management from feasibility to completion.
- Producing scope of works, and reviewing design and scope information
- Liaising with design team, key stakeholders, client and end users
- Ensure designs and projects comply with statutory and mandatory regulations and compliance
- Carry out post-contract project delivery to ensure deadlines and programmes are met
- Management of sub-contractors on site
- Liaise closely with commercial department on financial aspects of project delivery
Key
- Construction, building services or facilities management career background
- Strong working knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- You must have a clear understanding of the statutory regulations relating to CDM.
- NEC Accredited Project Manager (desirable)
- Experience of working on Defence projects (desirable)
- Understanding of current building regulations / Scottish technical handbook
- Bachelor’s degree in construction related field and professional membership such as RICS or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the industry.

- 5% site allowance paid (paid monthly)
- 10% tour bonus (12 monthly)
