Interim Commercial Estates Surveyor – Local Authority – East of England – Hybrid Working
Panoramic Associates are supporting a Local Authority in the East of England with the appointment of an Interim Commercial Estates Surveyor.
In this role, you’ll be a key part of the Estates team, driving the Council’s strategic property goals through disposals, lettings, and acquisitions, while advising on high-value and complex estate matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to use their property expertise in a meaningful public sector context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review property transactions including disposals, acquisitions, lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, and valuations.
- Maximise income and long-term returns on the council’s commercial estate.
- Provide specialist advice to support wider development initiatives and service transformation projects.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to align property strategies with organisational objectives.
- Represent the council in property negotiations and contribute to estates and tactical planning.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum three years’ experience in commercial/residential estate management and valuation.
- Proven knowledge of property law, valuation techniques, planning regulations, and estate strategy.
- Strong stakeholder management, report writing, and communication skills.
- RICS membership or equivalent professional qualification.
Contract Details:
- Initial 6 month contract with potential to extend
- Hybrid working (1 day on-site every fortnight)
