Interim Closedown Accountant

Are you an experienced accountant seeking an engaging interim role? Our Local Authority Client, based in the North-West, is actively seeking inerim support to support the closedown process for an initial period of 4-6 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Year-End Lead to ensure seamless execution of all closedown activities.
  • Employ your extensive technical accounting expertise, including proficiency in Capital & Collection Fund, to contribute effectively to the closedown process.
  • Drive towards the critical deadline of May 31st, maintaining precision and adherence to regulatory standards throughout.

Requirements:

  • Essential: Proven experience in Local Authority Closedown procedures.
  • Strong technical accounting acumen, with a focus on Capital & Collection Fund.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, without compromising accuracy.
