Class 2D Building Inspector – Local Authority (Greater Manchester)
Location: Greater Manchester
Contract: 6 Months (2 Positions Available)
Rate: £60 per hour (Outside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP
Are you an experienced Class 2D Registered Building Inspector looking for your next contract opportunity? Our local authority client in Greater Manchester is seeking two Building Inspectors to support their busy Building Control team on a 6-month contract basis.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:

Managing a diverse caseload of domestic and commercial projects.

Conducting site inspections and ensuring full compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and Building Regulations.

Providing technical advice and guidance to applicants, developers, and the public.

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring a high standard of customer service delivery.
About You
To be successful, you’ll need:

Class 2D Registration under the Building Inspector Competence Framework (BICoF).

Proven experience working within a Local Authority Building Control environment.

Strong technical knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.

Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
-
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload efficiently.
The Offer
