Panoramic Associates has partnered with a local authority to support with their recruitment of Assistant SEN Case Officers.
This role is ideal for somebody who is familiar with EHCP processes and SEN Code of Practice and is looking for a stepping stone into a SEN Case Officer position. Although responsibilities will be mainly administrative, the successful candidate will be exposed to local authority SEN processes and have the opportunity to be proactive with their involvement of cases.
As the council has recently set up new processes within the SEN service, there is lots of opportunity for the candidate to expand their experience and skill set, as well as potentially be offered progression paths.
Responsibilities could include:
- Inputting data and updating databases
- Drafting letters
- Being a point of contact for schools and parents
- Minute taking of co-production meetings and SEN Panel
The assignment will initially be 3 - 6 months long and can accommodate September start dates. Our client can offer a competitive day rate (paid via an umbrella company) as well as fully remote working.
