Role purpose

We are pleased to be supporting a London-based social housing provider, in their search for an Asset/Facilities Manager to maintain and develop the group's facilities and assets.

In the role, you will be working with a growing portfolio of residential projects across East London. in addition to developing the Asset Management systems and records for effective long-term maintenance and upgrading/refurbishment

The successful candidate will work as part of the Property Management team, assisting in all aspects of running the property portfolio. You will help to ensure the homes are well maintained, secure, clean, and compliant with all statutory requirements, and deliver the best customer service to all residents.

  • Manage and supervise maintenance contracts for all our buildings and homes.
  • Procure, project manager, supervise and coordinate the work of all contractors and service contracts /suppliers to the homes.
  • Lead on the Group's approach and adoption of the new Building Safety regime.
  • Procure, project manage, supervise and coordinate the work of all contractors and service contracts /suppliers to our homes.
  • Ensure the security of all buildings and implement appropriate security measures, such as surveillance cameras or security staff.
  • Plan and develop the annual budget for all maintenance and service expenditures and assist the development of service charge forecasts for all properties.
  • Direct, coordinate and plan essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling.
