Property Asset Manager

Location: South Coast

Salary: 57k

Panoramic are facilitating the appointment of an Asset Manager who can work with a local Authority based on the South Coast, to support the Compliance and Maintenance Manager in ensuring the first-class delivery of Building Services.

Reporting to the Head of Assets, you will be overseeing all aspects of Asset Management of the Housing, operational, investment and heritage property portfolio, ensuring that the Council remain legally compliant in relation to its property portfolio.

Property Asset Manager

Location: South Coast

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the monitoring and managing of partnering contracts and any necessary procurement processes
  • To ensure good communication between all parties and to proactively facilitate multi-party communication for purposes of obtaining successful outcomes for property problems
  • Develop future investment programmes based on robust asset management data and ensure this data remains up to date as projects are completed.
  • Ensure team members are properly trained in the relevant areas.
  • Budget responsibility for all aspects of asset management across the Council's property portfolio including budget setting and monitoring.
  • Identify and propose areas for service improvement within the asset management function.

Property Asset Manager Requirements:

  • Experience of asset management, investment and operational portfolio management operational and non-operational estates management, Facilities Management
  • Line management experience
  • Local government experience preferred
  • Excellent leadership and line management skills, including the ability to delegate appropriately, empowering Team Leaders and employees to effectively deliver operational duties, tasks and goals
  • The ability to handle a challenging workload in a complex political environment
