Asbestos Surveyor
Panoramic Associates is working with a Local Authority in East Midlands to find an Asbestos Surveyor for a 6-month contract initially, offering £230/day Inside IR35, responsible for conducting surveys and inspections of asbestos-containing materials, specifically in housing properties, communal areas, and potentially some offices and community buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform asbestos surveys and inspections, focusing on housing properties including houses, flats, communal areas, and sheltered schemes.
- Conduct walk-throughs of old surveys (older than 12 months) to update records and note any changes.
- Manage non-licensed asbestos removals and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Oversee and update records related to Asbestos Insulating Board (AIB) in communal areas.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
- P405 Asbestos Management qualification.
- Proven experience in asbestos surveys, particularly within housing.
