Last week, Panoramic Associates’ Lead Senior Consultant Mia Collett and Lead Principal Consultant Maisie Hockings hosted the next in our series of Breakfast Briefings on the topic: ‘Revalidation process for Independent Consultants in Public Health - Where to start as an Interim’.

We were joined by Jessica Lichtenstein, Chief Executive of the UK Public Health Register / UK PHR and Zaira Ejaz, Revalidation & Registration Services Officer / UK Public Health Register.

This was a follow up event from events held last year, when we were joined by John Woodhouse (Faculty of Public Health/FPH), Julian Ryder (FPH) and Kathy Elliot (UKPHR), where Consultants in Public Health were able to share their experience with the current system and process.

Jessica and Zaira discussed that the UK PHR are embarking on a review of Revalidation and discussed other topics such as:

1 – How can interims train to become a Professional Appraiser.

2 – The possibility of having a list of trained Professional Appraisers in the future.

3 – How can everyone have access to SARD.

4 – The MAG form.

Jessica’s post Breakfast Briefings comments were that it was useful to hear directly from the specialists this morning and that they hope we can see a positive change soon.

It was an incredibly insightful session. If you would like to view the full recording, please email: Maisie Hockings on m.hockings@panoramicassociates.co.uk, or Mia Collett on m.collett@panoramicassociates.co.uk.
